Do you Price Match?

Absolutely!  You will find that our pricing is right on point and we conform to manufacturer pricing policies.  However if you find a better price for the exact same product, from another authorized dealer and we can look it up like you did then nooo problem - in fact just because you had to ask us to match it, we will give you an extra 5% loyalty points on that order!

Is there a Warranty?

Abso-friggin-lutely!   YES, YES, AND YES.  We are authorized dealers for the manufacturers we offer on this site!

Buyer Beware! Some online stores are NOT authorized as a dealer to sell the products they are offering. Some of these products could be old/out dated inventory, discontinued products, brands that have gone out of business, 2nd and 3rds, and the list goes on. They say there is a warranty, but if you look closely, you will find it's their warranty, which means you are not covered by the manufacturer.

All items listed on the site are typically in stock and ready to ship.  There are rare occasions we run out of an item. In these instant we will contact you and give you an ETA of when it will be back in-stock.

Do you service scuba gear?

Short Answer - Yes!   Currently, we have 3 Tech "Ninjas". Between the 3 of them they are all factory trained and certified to work on any brand out there! We have a large inventory of parts, the latest in testing equipment, and all the proper tools to work on your scuba life support equipment.  For complete details check out our Gear Service page.

Can I request a review of a product?

Yes - we would love to know what product you would like a review on.  However, we get so many requests that it is hard to get to all of them. Let us know for sure, because when we get numerous requests for a particular product that moves it up in priority.

Does 5280 Scuba go on trips?

Of course, all the time! How do you think we review destinations, resorts, and products. We have a travel dept but it isn't the easiest thing to coordinate on an online retail site. We are working on a revision now that will allow you to see our travel options. In the meantime you can visit one of our travel partners trips here or email us Dive@5280scuba.com

What are your operating hours?

Whenever you are awake!   Heck, we're an online store. Now, if you want to speak with a real person, you have to call between 10:00am - 6:30pm Mountain Time, Monday through Friday.

Shipping Options and Times

Being in Colorado we are almost in the middle of the US which means most standard ground shipments will arrive in 3 to 5 business days!

You will be provided with a tracking number as soon as your items ships. 

Free Shipping is for standard ground shipping using our choice of USPS, FedEx or UPS. Expedited shipping options are available during check out which you pay the difference between ground and expedited shipping.

Where and how do you ship?

We will ship anywhere in US that a shipping carries goes.  We ship using FedEx, UPS, USPS

At this time international shipping is by request only,  but check back as we will be automating this feature soon!

Signature and Insurance

Signature Required: You ordered it and we want to make sure you get it!  We hate "Porch Pirates". To help with this the default is signature required for delivery during check-out.  If the total of your times is less than $500, you have the option to have your package(s) delivered with out a signature.  Please keep in mind that once the carrier has delivered (with or without signature) it means you now have the items you ordered. 

Insurance: Most carriers will only cover damage up to $50, even if it's their fault and run over the box with a forklift.  To make sure that no one looses on this we have added insurance to the order at check out for a small fee.  If you elected not to insure your item(s) and there was damage during shipping, the shipper may not cover the full amount for replacement. Also you can check with your Credit Card as many have automatic insurance on stolen items. 

In the case the item(s) were damaged please contact the shipping carrier at the phone number below and do the following:

  • Take pictures of the original shipping box (keep the box as the shipping carrier may require to physically see it as well), the items damaged and have a copy of your receipt.
  • Contact 5280 Scuba with the Claim Number or Call Tag Number given to you by the shipping carrier so we can arrange a reorder/shipment or credit. Our Phone # 90 Dive 5280 (903-483-5280).

How long will it take to process and ship my order?

Orders are typically processed the same day, Monday to Friday and shipped the same day if the order was received by 1:00 pm, otherwise it ships the next business day.

How can I view my past orders?

You will find them under your member profile. 

Can I cancel my order?

Yes!  However if your order has already been packed and/or shipped you will be charged shipping, handling or recall charges.
